Eric's 1.5 year headache

Eric looks like your typical 16 year old teenager but his day is anything but typical.  Eric suffers from New Daily Persistent Headache which means he has a constant headache.  When he wakes up he has a headache and it lasts all day-until he can fall asleep. He use to attend high school, was a top athlete on the soccer team and played with a passion, loved to hang out with his friends, and take his dog Zico to the the dog park and the beach.  This is no longer his life.  Eric suffers every minute of everyday from this debilitating headache that is not responding to any treatments. He spends his days struggling to perform normal tasks.
     Eric is our cousin and we are so happy he's been accepted into the Pediatric Pain Rehibilitation Program at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota which restores daily function and improves quality of life for kids with chronic pain like Eric has.  The medical team at The Mayo Clinic believes Eric is an excellent candidate for this program and that this program can change his life-back to where it was before the headache started over a year and a half ago.  However, in order for Eric to start this program his family needs to make a cash deposit of $42,000, which is due two days before Eric starts the program .  Eric's medical insurance has denied payment and a recent appeal also came back as a denial.  When we heard from our Aunt(Eric's mom) about the $42,000 deposit we wanted to help them, so we've turned to the Go Fund Me Website.
     Eric is kind hearted, smart, hardworking, and courageous. We desperately want our cousin to reclaim his life and stop his 1.5 year headache.
