Help give us a chance to say goodbye :(
We are a military family, stationed in California, and just found out my husbands mom has a few weeks to a few months to live after her breast cancer has spread to her brain and other parts of her body. We are a family of 5 who are struggling to make ends meet as it is with the Holidays so close, and now with this news we are trying everything to be able to make it home to say goodbye to her. This is an extremely unfortunate situation, and extremely sad, but we have got to accept this and figure out what to do. I think everything happens for a reason and although I don't think I will ever understand this, I have to take it as is and try to look at the positives (if there even is any) SO with that said, I think whatever Gods reasoning is for this, that he is giving us a chance to say goodbye and spend the little bit of time she has left with her. Funds are tight, and airplane tickets are even more expensive right now with the Holidays, not to mention the money for gas and food and whatever else we may need while back in Wisconsin to say our goodbyes, She truly is an amazing lady with an incredible attitude and up until these last few hours, thought she would be here for many more years to come :( We just want this opportunity to see her one last time. ANY donation of any value is so appreciated, and if you cant, we completely understand! Thank you all so much and please keep my mother in law, Tami Erickson in your prayers!!
