Let's Build the House

We are The House of Jacob Bible Study Class located at 5316 W. Harrison St.  Chicago, IL 60644.


Our new church is under construction and we are in need of funds to complete the task.

When people donate, they may give to individuals or to the church, However, in this fund raiser all the money raised will go to the building of the church.
(see Proverbs 19:17; Matthew 6:2-4; 22:17-21; Acts 5:4; Romans 14:4-8; 2 Corinthians 8:5; Colossians 3:22-25).

We are prayerfully seeking to have our church finished by December 2016.

Our mission is fulfill one of the  tasks  Jesus gave. Just before Jesus returned to heaven, he commissioned His disciples this way: “Go ye therefore and teach all nations......".( Matthew 28:19)

According to the Holy Bible, We are teaching the nations to  observe everything that I have commanded you”  disciples, people can admire, worship, trust, follow, and obey Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Our  church’s members, having become enamored of Jesus Christ, assembled around Him as Master, Leader, and Savior.
 Therefore,  Jesus sent the church on its mission to acquaint people in every place with Himself. Our joyful mission is to put Him on display to every nation.

It will renew our faith.  One of the primary graces of God to you and your brothers and sisters in Christ is the gift of faith.  In the church, we find people of faith, and since faith results in faithfulness, trustworthiness, and loyalty: you can find people who will be faithful to the Lord, becoming brothers and sisters in the true word of God.  These kinds of relationships  can be found in the church.

It will renew our love. God is love.  If we love God we will love one another.  The church is a place of love. The church is a safe place where love and the love of God rules.

It will renew our hope.  God is in the business of replacing despair with hope.  No matter the circumstances around us, we can find hope in the worshiping and promises of Him.  God is in charge.  He works all things together for good, He will never leave nor forsake us.
