Green Party Election Fund

Please help us field a Green Party candidate for the 2017 General Election in Elmet and Rothwell in Leeds.

Imagine a political system that puts the public first. Imagine an economy that gives everyone their fair share.

Imagine a society capable of supporting everyone’s needs. Imagine a planet protected from the threat of climate change now and for the generations to come. That’s the world we want to create and we believe we have the means to do it.

As we are sure you are aware, the UK is facing a very divisive General Election on Thursday 8th June 2017. A snap election called far too early and one that stinks of partisan advantage. This isn’t democratic politics at play but an electoral coup.

Elmet and Rothwell, a district of Leeds, have a growing and active Green Party. We wish to field a candidate for the 2017 General Election. We seek funds to field a candidate (£500) and be able to campaign with printed materials within our local constituency (£500).

We ask that people who believe in a multi-party political system help us give the voters of Elmet and Rothwell a real choice when it comes to placing a cross on their ballot papers. We ask that people who believe in fair, just and socially responsible politics donate and help make this a reality.

The Green Party believe that ensuring each individual voice is heard and listened to, we can achieve our goal of building a society and political system that works for the common good.

Please help us field a candidate and create a voice for Green Politics in the Elmet and Rothwell constituency of Leeds.

Every penny will count no matter how small or large your donation is.

Your support would help us give voters the choice to vote Green and for the Common Good.

We would like to fund this campaign by the 11th of May 2017. This is the deadline date for candidates to be added to the electoral b
allot paper.

Thank you.
