Women's Empowerment Ministry

Tax deductible
As a part of National Domestic Violence Month in October 2014,  Fountain of Hope Christian Church started this "Dr. Mary A Leonard Women's Empowerment Ministry" to help women come out  or "WALK IT OUT" of domestic violence, poverty, depression, financial distress, and hopelessness to where God wants them to be.   This ministry is named in honor of Rev. Dr. Leonard who died this past 2014 Mother's Day after delivering the Mother's Day Sunday Message.

The target is not only women in Atlanta Metro Shelters, but also women who have been referred to us for assistance.   It's about helping those women who want to be helped.

This ministry had its kick off on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at a luncheon at the Rosel Fann Recreation Center, Atlanta, GA with approximately 60 women present.   Going forward, this ministry will provide encouragement, empowerment, and uplifting to women through sever programs such as the following:
- Christmas Banquet
-CNN Special: The Black Woman and Family
-Blame, Shame, Game Workshop
-Women's Empowerment Rally
-Women's Day
-Annual Women's Empowerment Luncheon

100% of the gift you give will go toward helping women move into a better situation.
