Mūsų gamtos ir jos išteklių apsauga dar niekada nebuvo tokia svarbi. Visame pasaulyje matome neigiamą mūsų vis dar netvaraus gyvenimo poveikį - miškų naikinimas sukelia potvynius, sausras ir pasėlių nesėkmę; tarša sukelia bioįvairovės nykimą ir ligas, kaip vėžį.
Kasdien yra vis svarbiau užtikrinti gamtos stabilumą.
Klimato kaita labiausiai paveikia skurdžiausias šio pasaulio šalis. Viena iš jų – Malavis.
Šiandien mes esame čia Malavyje. Esame du savanoriai iš Lietuvos ir Ispanijos.
Pradėjome vykdyti gamtai ir jaunimui skirtą projektą Malavio kaimuose. Mes norime mobilizuoti jaunimą iš įvairių kaimų ir didinti informuotumą apie klimato kaitą.
Pagrindinė mintis, kad ne tik kartu gilinamės ir mokomės apie tai, bet ir praktiškai vykdome šiuos projektus: ekologiškų produktų gaminimas, plastiko ir kitų šiukšlių rinkimai gamtoje, medžių sodinimai, bičių auginimas, komposto gaminimas, ekologiškų vaisių ir daržovių auginimas.. Kadangi norime, kad šios, šiandien labai aktualios temos, pasiektų kuo daugiau žmonių, vykdome demonstracijas vietiniuose kaimuose ir skatiname visus prisijungti prie mūsų grupės.
Kad visa tai įvyktų, mums reikalinga jūsų pagalba. Lėšos bus naudojamos mini projektų vykdymui ir demonstracijoms skirtinguose Malavio kaimuose.
Mes tikime, kad kartu mes galime išvengti klimato kaitos ir skatinti žmones gyventi harmonijoje su gamta!

Protecting our natural resources has never been so critical. All around the world we are seeing the negative impacts of our increasingly unsustainable living – deforestation leads to floods, droughts and crop failure; pollution causes loss of biodiversity and sicknesses like cancer.
The importance of ensuring environmental sustainability is becoming more important every day.
We all know that Climate Change mostly hits the poor. That’s leading to one of the poorest countries in the world – Malawi.
Today we are here in Malawi. We are two volunteers from Lithuania and Spain trying to do our best in order to ensure environmental sustainability and reach as many people as possible.
We started to run Environmental Youth Club in rural area of Malawi. We want to mobilize youth from different villages and raise awareness on Climate Change. By taking different actions like trees planting, plastic cleaning actions, ecological gardening and farming, waste management and other projects, people will understand how it is important to act for our environment. This will be the best benefit as a development for local people and for the one of the poorest countries – Malawi.
In order to make it happen and implement all these local projects we need your support. Funds is going to be used for needed materials like trees seedlings, materials for cleaning actions, ecological seeds, tools for making compost areas as well as different courses and transportation in order to spread these ideas and projects through different communities around and develop it as much widely as possible.
Our club is already running for more than 7 weeks, so far we learnt a lot about Climate Change and deforestation, we implemented an “Eco Charcoal” project. The topic of May is Permaculture which we already started investigating about the importance of producing our own food and medicine. In order to make more activities and to follow our plan for the next month’s your support is needed as soon as possible.
All your support means really a lot for us and for the youth in Malawi.
We are extremely grateful for everyone who wants to be part of this community development projects that will reach more than 100 families.
