English and Bible Summer Camp

At this time of year, students are finishing up their studies, taking exams and waiting impatiently for the summer vacation. During this summer, we intend to be alongside students with the accent on consolidating existing relationships and evangelizing new students who joined our community this past semester. We also hope to encourage and equip the student leaders during these summer events.
Each summer we offer Christian students the opportunity to hang out with their friends who don't know Jesus at our English Camp. The camp will be organized in cooperation with UCCF (the student movement from the UK). We will explore together interesting events in the life and activity of Jesus. We believe that God will bless students by helping them to make good decisions and to discover Jesus, who can change their lives.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This year CSC Moldova team, in collaboration with students from the North West UCCF, will organize the 17th edition of the English and Bible Summer Camp in Chisinau, Moldova. Summer Camp is an evangelistic project for students who are receptive to the Bible and spiritual life. The camp program will be diverse and interesting: Bible studies in small groups, English lessons for beginners and intermediates, apologetic style seminars, team building and cultural evenings.
EVENT SCHEDULE
This is a two-week program culminating in a 7-day English Camp for mostly non-Christian students with many opportunities to reach students with the Gospel through Bible Study, English lessons, and friendship. For many of these students, this will be the first and perhaps only opportunity they have to read the Bible and hear about Jesus Christ.
BUDGET OF THE PROJECT
This year the camp will take place from 2nd to 9th July at Vadul lui Voda. The full cost for a student to take part in this camp is $138. We hope to offer sponsorship of $94 of the camp price to disadvantaged students. The UCCF team will cover part of the budget, but we still need funding to cover the full budget of the camp.
