Less than 6 months ago in September, it was strange, Enel was being forgetful of the basic things like names of friends, and where was his University... nobody really thought anything of it... people forget little things all the time.
Then, he had some sporadic speech errors and he couldn't express himself in a normal sentence, that is when the headaches started, coincidentally at that time he had a real nagging toothache, so he thought possibly this wisdom tooth pain could be related.
He first went to a regular doctor to see about the severe persistent headaches, so they did a tomography and discovered a small tumor in the frontal area of his head, about 2 centimeters.
The doctor recommended to return and do an MRI but on that same day, he had convulsions and they detected hydrocephalus, a condition in which fluid accumulates in the brain. He was admitted to intensive care that same day, where he remained for 25 days.
He returned home under the care of his brother. The doctor prescribed special medicine to manage the pain and the swelling, but unfortunately the tumor has increased in size an they said he needs a biopsy on the tumor, urgently, to determine how to treat it, whether to do chemotherapy or radiotherapy, or worst case scenario, surgery. Without a biopsy, the doctor will not be able to provide a treatment plan, and he is worsening daily, at a more rapid rate than before...
These funds raised here could help save him, and pay for the biopsy. Without this, he will continue to deteriorate, and it hurts all of us so much to see our very special wonderful family member suffer like this. Please, help..
