Courtney's Life Altering Operation

If you know the first thing about me it's that I hate asking anyone for anything. Which is why I will never feel comfortable doing this, but I need help. Here's my story:
April 7, 2014, as I prepared to make dinner, something terrible happened inside of my body. An adhesion snapped, taking half of my ovary with it. I was bleeding internally and there wasn't a doctor who could figure out why. Fast forward two weeks and I finally found a doctor willing to figure it out. April 24th changed my life forever. Following an exploratory laprascopic surgery I was officially diagnosed with Endometriosis. Six months later the pain kept up, so I found a specialist. On September 6th I was put under once again to try to remove it all. During that surgery I was found to also have pelvic floor disfunction, pelvic congestion syndrome, and Adenomyosis severe enough to warrant a full hysterectomy.

Here's the thing, these diseases have no cure. The best anyone can do is to try to treat them as much as humanly possible. That's why I have found the best of the best. Dr. Kongoasa and Dr. Sinervo are the finest endometriosis specialists in the country, and they have agreed to treat me. The cost of the surgery, even with insurance is still astronomical, but it is a price I'm willing to pay to get my life back.

On February 2, 2016, my doctors plan on performing the following surgeries:
Partial oopherectomy (removal of the left ovary)
Prescaral Nueterectomy (removing the nerve that sends pain signals to the brain)
Adhesion removal
Endometriosis clean up, as this can never be fully removed.
I will also need to travel to Atlanta for 1 week for this surgery.

Since being diagnosed I've lost just about everything. I've lost jobs because of being ill. I've lost countless freinds because my illness stops me from going out and doing things,  I've lost myself in pity and depression. It's not easy knowing that for the rest of my life I could be in pain if I can't find the money for this surgery.

So here I am, going against everything that I am and everything that I stand for, asking for help. I appreciate everything everyone has done for me thus far. The friends I do have understanding that my life is a mess right now. My family not letting me forget to fight through it. I just hope this is the last time anyone ever has to give me help. Thank you.
