President Coolidge Seeks Chairs

Tax deductible
Calvin Coolidge was a great president. Silent Cal stood for federalism, sound budgeting, low taxes, and civil discourse. Coolidge had great respect for America's founders, embodying their values as if he was a Founding Father himself.

But for a long time Calvin, who served as America's 30th president in the 1920s, has been missing in Washington, D.C.

Now the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation is setting up "Coolidge House," a base for "30" in the nation's capital. Coolidge House is a fittingly historic property, dating to the era of America's founding. Located in the Georgetown neighborhood, the property was built in 1797 by George Mason's nephew, John Thomson Mason. Coolidge House will host events, feature a special exhibit, and serve as a gathering place for the growing community of Coolidge enthusiasts.

But there's a problem: Calvin has no chairs.

You can help -- by endowing your very own Coolidge Chair. We're not talking about a large endowment for a professorship. We're talking about an actual chair which will make Coolidge House ready to welcome Coolidge fans such as yourself, and to host Coolidge-related programs, seminars, and special events in our nation’s capital. In other words, you can honor Silent Cal at a donation level that will keep your favorite president from turning in his grave.

Your donation of $250 to the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation will endow an actual chair in your name, complete with an engraved plate recognizing your contribution.

We want to be sure we get your endowment perfect. After you process your gift, you will receive an email from the Coolidge Foundation confirming the naming details for your engraving. If you have any questions, please feel free to email the Coolidge Foundation's Rob Hammer by clicking on the mail icon next to "Coolidge Foundation" near the top right hand side of this page. The Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Gifts to the Foundation are tax deductible.
