Facebook page, Voices Ending Family Crimes. We have a presentation which has already been used & widely appreciated, in the ongoing education of direct care workers & foster parents. We have researched the studies about the effects of extreme trauma in children, even in adult victims of extreme or 'terroristic' aggravated abuse or believed sense of personal harm, possible death.
None of us like to think of these extreme types of harm happening to a child, or maybe one of our adult children, or maybe in the apartment next door. The possibility that a parent could video their child in explicit manner and then sell it online. The possiblity they could take their child to meet up with one or maybe more adults for sexual, drug, alcohol interactions; it won't hurt them, right? We don't hear about these cases on the news until something very horrible has happened, maybe the worst; somone is dead, a parent or grandparent might be getting a call.
To me it's completely unimaginable that what happened to me, millions of others in my generation, millions in the generation before me, millions in the generation before my parents; and even worse my bloodline that still carries forward. Now things may not be as bad as they were for you, but do you want a child you know to have to go through that type of fear, harm, years of degradating acts and violent outbursts, which may or may not be affecting your ongoing heathy quality of life.
That's why Lisa, myself & Dana have teamed up on this. We are educating right now in Southwestern & Central Illinois about the truth behind, 'Our greatest human tragedy'. We are asking for your help so that we can provide the publications, events, and political support we need to enact these changes, or at least gain a federal level review. Please help by providing whatever small donation possible. If you or someone you know has ever been the victim of these types of Family Cruelties, we ask you to help us end this in our generation.
Together as a human society we can pass forward a more positive understanding and support measures to prevent the continued destruction and influence of criminal behavior inside what are the most heinous of mankind's actions; those which most often attack children inside their home, the use of intimidation or threats of direct harm used to silence them in terror for decades; therefore preventing the Family Abuser from ever being held accountable or punished in our justice system. Most often the victims are left to figure it out, battle through the aftermath, struggle with the defaults from the harm inflicted. However, we simply have therapists to deal with the victims; who cares if they are permanently injured or so wound up with Post Trauma Stress Reactions, they can't even concentrate to hold a job to be self sustaining and goal achieving in our society today?
Will you please help us spread the word, begin talking with those in your family, your neighborhood, your churches, your schools, and please talk with your politicians.
