LISTEN TO MY STORY HERE TO SEE WHY I AM SO DETERMINED TO MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE!!!




My name is Marshelle Woodland, I'm also known as Motivational Comedian MsWoody. I am the Founder/CEO of Midwest "Show Me Funny" Entertainment a small business owner in St. Louis, Missouri. Being the mother of 9 children and an advocate for the homeless is challenging in itself. I had to take action to make a difference where I live because the homeless problem is getting worse. Often I am asked, how can I help the homeless when I am homeless myself. To those who have questions, I ask you these questions:

1. Why do you feel I have to wait to get in a better position to do something about what I'm familiar with?

2. Why shouldn't I use and take advantage of an opportunity to use the venues in my city to make a difference if I'm helping to pay for them? ( Many cities have multiple large venues that can be used to raise funds for their city issues. And most likely the citizens of those cities are paying for those venues with their tax money too.)

3. What are you doing to help fix this problem plaguing this country?

My mission is to help build a better community by using comedy as a healing source.  I'm trying to raise the funds needed to pull off a Comedy Festival & Guinness World Record attempt. The record I want to break is a mass participation record for a comedian. It was set in Berlin, Germany in 2008 with an audiance of more than 67,000+ people at the Olympia Stadium. It's my wish to begin paying it forward to help end the homeless problems in communities through this event. I'm also in the process of finishing my story as a stage play and movie script. (See more information below about these projects)


With the RAMS FOOTBALL TEAM no longer in St. Louis this gives us the opportunity to utilize that Venue to make a difference. I have also reached out to other stadiums in the Midwest. Now you do the math, with a venue this size together we can help get hundreds of families back on track. There are families from Hurricane Katrina and recent Hurricanes seeking help to get on their feet. 

I am very determined to pull off this project, so determined you can find me throughout the community in any kinds of weather collecting small donations  and signatures with my petitions.

Sometimes you just can't tell
The donations from this campaign will be used to cover the costs of the Guinness World Record judges, rental of the Convention Center and any miscellaneous fees to pull off this event. This also included special invited guest and the honoring of a legendary Comedians. Please contact me for that bonus information. I am seeking $5 and $20 donations for the current promotional items available. My team and I are organizing other fundraiser events also. I'm seeking $50 - $1000 donations for vendor space at all fundraising events for the End Homeless Mission. Please contact me ASAP for locations and dates of these events. Anyone donating $1,000 will automatically become an investor in the Guinness World Record attempt and receive vendor space at the Convention Center. (Limited Space)
To insure the success of the event, deposits are needed as soon as possible for the venue. Those donating $5 through this GoFundMe campaign will receive a keychain, button or magnet of their choice (from selections below). Those donating $25 will receive a "Pledge to Stand Up For Change" t-shirt and the choice of (2) keychains, buttons or magnets. This project is dear to me because I can relate to homelessness and talk to people on a daily basis that can relate also. My family and I have been homeless a few times over the course of 15 years. I know how depressing it can be and the long term effects of it, especially for children. In most cases people end up homeless because of some kind of loss. When you suffer from any loss, especially if you loose a loved one it hits you financially and mentally as well. For these reasons I'm turning my life story into a stage play and movie as stated earlier. I also wish to pay it forward for mental illness for these reasons too. I'm asking for the community support to show how a little can go a long way. I am determined to show that the power is truly in the numbers. And together we really can make an impact for issues plaguing our communities. So many people these days are one paycheck away from becoming homeless themselves. I'm using my creative idea to help people receive  3, 6, 9 or 12 months of rent or mortgage to help get them into a home. If those want to attend are already in homes this project will give them a chance to keep their homes too.

I would be filled with joy to see this record broken in the USA, especially see the St. Louis community benefit from all my years of hard work. I love St. Louis and I stand for change!! I came up with an idea that will make a big difference in many lives and one that could create a domino effect! 

 I don't know of anyone else doing something like this, at least in this unique way. And wanting to help hundreds of people at a time get back on track.
