End of Life Fund for Bazil

Donation protected
For those of you who know me, you know how difficult it is for me to ask for help. I have always been a very hard working and resourceful individual. Unfortunately, I have reached the point where I must do what is best for someone else. That someone is Bazil.

Bazil is my kitty of 20 years. I have had her for almost my whole life. When everything else in my life kept changing, she was the one thing that I always had. She was named for her sweetness, but we had to add the "z" to make it more unique.

Bazil is not your typical cat. She is the type of sweet soul that has cuddled me all night every night for my whole life. She taps her paw on the ground to get more lovin's. She purrs when you look at her and then gets up just so she can be closer to you.

Since late July of this year, I have been taking Bazil to the vet weekly (now three times a week). It started with mild seizures, then she would go days without eating, and now she's stopped drinking as well. The seizures eventually stopped and Bazil had some good days. The vet diagnosed her with kidney failure (I don't have the full name close to me).

Bazil recently received fluids, with hopes of improvement. Sadly, she has been having terrible seizures ever since (with vomiting and groans and meowing). I can tell that she is getting tired. My once very chubby kitty is down to 6 pounds.

Even though she is feeling her worst right now, all Bazil wants to do is comfort me. She has barely left my side. Just last night I woke up with her resting her chin on my face, sound asleep.

As a full-time college student with two jobs, I have been trying my hardest to keep up with the vet bills. I've been so focused on trying anything to help her get better, that I've burnt through the money needed for when her time here is over.

This GoFundMe will help me cover the at home euthanasia and the costs to have her cremated. I don't want the object of money to prevent me from making the decision to end her suffering. Please consider donating or sharing. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and please leave only positive/loving comments.
