KọAfrica.com wants to facilitate "free" and affordable education in Africa.

Kọ (pronounced KAW) in Yoruba Language of west africa means "to teach or to build".

That's EXACTLY our goal.  To teach and to build Africa by teaching and building the underprivileged kids in Africa.

Decades ago, the missionaries brought affordable education to Africa but the schools that were established during this period have since deteriorated badly.

There are private schools being established but an average kid cannot afford to attend these schools.  They are too expensive.

The clergymen of these days in Africa would rather establish schools for massive profits.  An average kid in most of Africa cannot be afforded education at these expensive institutions.

That's why we created KọAfrica.com as an initiatiive to raise funds so we can build state of the art schools that an average parent can afford to send their kids affordably... possibly for FREE.

We live in a global world.  We all can't afford to have little kids roaming around major highways in Africa trying to sell chips to help suppliment income for their poor parents.  It's called child abuse.

Child right are being violated every day and they are being killed as well.

Poverty is still a major problem in Africa.

Africa, geographically speaking, is blessed with the most natural resources in the world.   YOU & I need Africa to be safe and productive.

The kids of today are the future of making that happen.  However, kids are not being educated.  They can't afford proper education.

The government is owing teachers as much as 8 months in salary.   I am 36 years old and I have been waiting all my life for the government in Africa to become competent.  In fact, they are becoming worse daily.

Since teachers are not being paid properly so that they can take care of their family, they abandon the few kids that manage to get to the public school systems in class.

YOU & I cannot afford to keep waiting for the government agencies in Africa to do the right thing.  We need to help the kids in Africa become great talents...

...and the world is not a sustainable habitat for humanity without securing the future of these innocent kids.

There are many talented kids that will never have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills to compete in today's world if we do not do something about it.

Because of poverty, people are gravitating more and more towards superstitious practises with leadership by the very spiritual leaders in Africa today.

Remember that many of them resorted into the spiritual professions because of poverty too.  It's a vicious cycle.

Kids are being murdered every day for rituals because they are busy roaming the streets and highways all day long while they are supposed to be in school like the privileged kids.

Some of the kids are in Marijuana plantations trying to make money for food.  Many of them end up with psychotic disorders and of course, many go un-diagnosed.

There are no proper security with the public schools that are still operating.  Hence the reason for stories such #bringourgirlsback and kid adoption by terrorists groups such as Boko Haram.

These are kids as young as 3-5 years old.....

... all because of poverty.

KọAfrica.com is a big project but no amount is too small or too big to support this multiple lifetimes project.  We want the project to continue way after our lifetime.

We want to build schools.

We want to make it affordable... If possible... FREE!

We want to start from head-start, preschool all the way to University Level.

We want to start from 1 village and spread the initiative across all of Africa.

We believe that with as little as $1 at a time, we can change lives... 1 kid at a time.   Every single one of your donated $$$ will go a very long way.

Our 1st goal is $25,000 for 5 different steps as listed below:

1.  This will be used to take a trip to Africa with a 1 or 2 man camera crew so we can tell the present story of an average village kid properly.  It will inspire more donations and pledges.

2.  We will also need this for proper legal entity establisment with competent partnerships down in Africa so that we can ensure that funds are protected.

3.  Also, we will lay the first foundation of the first school IMMEDIATELY.  We do not want to waste another second of time.

4.  We will create a proper website to tell the stories of changing lives of millions of kids for years to come.

5.  We will use it to launch an international campaign for this initiative.

We have a plan but we also plan on adjusting and telling the full story as we go right here on KọAfrica.com

We've put a team together already that includes an experienced school Prinicipal to overlook the project.

With your help, we can make the world a better place.

At the very minimum, please take a moment to help us share this campaign.

NOTE: Please excuse any grammar or typo error.  We will be putting together a proper brochure soon.

Here are so preliminary picture that we've put together on Facebook...
