Hi friends,
As we all know, our beautiful friend Emmy has been diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm from Sydney and was lucky enough to meet ET in high school. I've never met anyone who in a time of absolute shock and heartache, can still manage to put on such a brave face and stay positive. She is one tough cookie and is already so appreciative and thankful for all the kind words and messages of support. But I, along with my friends want to do more.
Chemo started this week and one of the many side affects will be Em losing her hair.
A friend of mine works for Kylie Clarke wigs. Although they create masterpieces for musicals (like Aladdin) they also specialise in making wigs for those that have suffered the effects of cancer. They meet with the client to take measurements to fit the wig perfectly and depending on the client, use their hair and/or real hair from donations.
Wigs costs between $2000-$4000.
I have spoken to Em and although she is hesitant to accept that kind of money she is going to set up an apointment to discuss the whole process.
Let's raise as much as we can, present her with what we have and let her decide on what she would like to do with the money. If it can make this hard time, a little bit easier, and a little bit brighter, then I'm all for it!
With such an impressive amount raised, this money will not only get ET a wig (or 2) made but will now also go towards the exuberant medical bills to alleviate financial pressure for Sean and Em so they can just focus on getting Em healthy!

Mid next week I will end this amazing campaign so I can start receiving all the donations and transfer it straight to Emmy.
