Emmi’s Recovery Fund

During a freak accident, my good friend and co-worker’s 4 year old dog has ended up with a broken back.  After a long day of being transferred to different hospitals, Lorisa’s dog Emmi ended up at Angell Memorial Veterinary Hospital in Boston. 

Emmi is currently undergoing extensive surgery to stabilize her spine  using  rods  and  bone  cement.The surgery itself is  over$7,000.  Now Lorisa and Emmi are look at several months of  recovery which will also be very expensive.  Although Lorisa is a full time Veterinary Technician, our hospital is only general practice and this injury requires a specialist and neurosurgeon which will include lots of visits off cape for post operative care.

 I know it is the holiday season and everyone has expenses, but I also know Lorisa is the absolute most genuine person I have ever met. She deserves to have the opportunity and funds to be able to give Emmi the best possible post op care possible.  If you can donate I know Lorisa would be so grateful, even if you cant..please share this post!
