Emma's Animal Sanctuary

Donation protected
Emma is a vibrant 12 year old girl with a dream to open her own Animal Sanctuary. When asked what she wants for Christmas it is money to start the Sanctuary. When asked about her birthday (DEC 10th) we get the same answer.

She dreams big and loves animals more than anyone I have ever met. She loves being outdoors swimming, sailing, hiking and also loves being online watching animal videos. Usually the silly cat ones.

Emma also has anxiety and PTSD so we bring her to animal santuaries and horse farms often for therapeutic reasons as well as for enjoyment. She has a strong bond with animals because of this. She also know many other kids are victims of abuse and assault and need this type of help and therapy too.

She wants to go to college and study to take care of animals as a vet or zooologist and live on her sanctuary.  On her walks to school she looks for hurt animals and many days come back with birds that need care.

She tells her friends about saving the planet and how animals are treated all over the world. Her love for them is "beyond, beyond". I promised her as her adoptive mother that I would do everything I could to support her dream and we would work together over the years to make her dream a reality.  Promises are important in our relationship.

The cost of a sanctuary and everything that comes with it gets costly which Emma does know but isn't prepared for. So I am looking for anyone who wants to also help make Emma's dream to a reality. I can see her holding signs on sidewalks and joining activist groups one day.  Although not completely vegan she already convinced some friends to try vegetarian and vegan food, meatless mondays, and 21 day vegan challenges.

We accept all donations (even offers for her to come work with you at your santuary or farm or shelter!).  But today, at 12, she can't even volunteer at most shelters due to liability issues so instead this is her plan.
Let's start her off strong.

She is already doing something amazing for the world. I hope to harness that and show that others support her dreams too. I will update however I can with drawings of her sanctuary, business plans, notes, etc. If we go over our goal we can even start sharing our filing for a 501c3 and possibly purchasing a plot of land! Maybe send out thank you gifts!

This will benefit not only the animals but children that need trauma therapy and animal therapy. She wants to one day make an area just for therapy dogs/animals for other kids.

We hope you all can help in any way at all spreading the news offering advice or donating your pocket change! She is 12 today so in a few years she can make this her after school job, then her college internship, and then her life. She will do amazing things with the help of the community.
