Emmanuel Mateo Medical Fund

Emmanuel Mateo was born and raised in Ventura, CA. He attended Juanamaria Elementary School, Balboa Middle School and graduated Buena High School with the Class of 2015. Emmanuel is currently finishing up his last semester at Ventura College with hoping to transfer to San Diego State to earn a double major in Sociology and Criminal Justice. Throughout his life he had many financial hardships; at one point, selflessly working in the lemon fields to help his family out. He is on the dean's list at VC and works full time as an assistant manager at the Ventura Green Crush Store. He recently joined the Oxnard Police Explorer Program to further his ambitions to become a Police Officer one day.


On May, 8th, Emmanuel was involved in a three car collision resulting in his critical condition. Emmanuel is currently at Ventura County Medical Center being treated for his injuries which consist of two different fractures of the skull, fluid leaking from his brain, a bruised lung and currently on life support. Though he has suffered significant trauma, Emmanuel still fights. His family needs all the love and support one can receive during a time like this. Any type of donation would help immensely with paying the substantial medical bills.
