Emily's Volunteering Adventure

For the past two years my heart has been completely and unexpectedly captivated by God's love through mentoring and discipleship. Having experienced this life-changing love and guidance as a teenager, I would love to give back to the community and impact teenagers with what I have been fortunate enough to experience. Thinking back, I am sure that you too, have a personal story of your teenage years and how you experienced them, and so can relate with me at how important it is to be shaped for the future.
For this reason, I am spending 10 months (before University) with the charity Reign Ministries' gap year programme: Green House, living with other gap year students in Bicester. If you head over to my Blog: Emilysvolunteeringadventure275 380752.wordpress.com I have written you a post that explains how the adventure will unfold, including youth work training in secondary schools, local youth clubs, and church community. Alongside team weeks away to Ireland, Lake District, and leading mission trips to Moldova with the young people I meet.
In order to participate in this exciting opportunity and volunteer in this way I need to raise £4’100. I have already worked and saved £3'500, and I am trusting in God to provide the remaining £600. So I invite you, to consider joining the adventure through any type of support whether that's prayer, advice, or financial support, and to join the team as we journey together. If you kindly choose to support me, I would be so grateful any amount, even the equivalent of buying me a coffee is much appreciated!
To show how passionate we feel about this programme, myself and Martin (my dad!) will be stepping up to the challenge to complete a 5K together. If you would like to support our fitness adventure too, I encourage you to consider donating in encouragement for both of us! We're going for gold!
