We're Emily & The Simons, a folk trio from England and Belgium playing music inspired by the beautiful world of Balfolk dance. We're in the process of creating our first CD: "Firelight", a collection of 10 tracks composed by Emily and arranged by the three of us, which we're aiming to release in early 2019.
You can listen to earlier versions of some of the tracks in the "media" section on our website.
We've been able to do the recording, editing and mixing work ourselves so far, but we're now at the point where we need to enlist the help of others. We're hoping, with your support, to raise funds by the end of January to cover the costs of mastering, duplication and artwork/design so that we can finally bring the project to fruition!
Any contributions would be very gratefully received!
If you would like simply to make a donation of any amount, that would be wonderful.
Alternatively, if you would like to receive one or more CDs in exchange for your donation, we'd like to give you that option here.
As a guide:
One signed CD + postage @ £15 (two @ £27; three @ £42; four @ £54; five @ £69)

Nous sommes Emily & The Simons , un trio folk anglo-belge qui joue une musique inspirée de l'univers des bals folk et des danses qu'on y trouve. Nous sommes en train de réaliser notre premier album, "Firelight", 10 morceaux composés par Emily et arrangées par le trio , qui devrait sortir en début 2019.
Vous pouvez écouter des enregistrements plus anciens de quelques morceaux sur notre site.
Nous avons pu réaliser l'enregistrement ainsi que le travail de mixage par nous-même. Mais nous avons maintenant besoin du talent d'autres personnes ! Nous espérons, avec votre aide, réunir la somme nécessaire avant le fin janvier pour payer les frais de mastering (dernière étape du mix), de pressage des CDs ainsi que le travail artistique et graphique de la pochette.
Toutes contributions, grandes ou petites, sont bienvenues et nous vous en serons très reconnaissants !
