Emergency Vet Hospitalization

Donation protected
My friend, Jo Bingham's recently adopted (3 weeks ago) rescue dog, Babygirl, slipped through the dog park fence on February 21st and there was no stopping her.  With no familiarity of her surroundings, she ran and ran while night fell.  We drove around Dunkirk with flashlights in searching for her until well after dark when a kind Dunkirk patrolman called Jo's cell with the sad news that she'd been hit by a car.  She was still alive but her status was uncertain; her back legs seemed paralyzed.

We drove her directly to the Orchard Park Emergency Animal Hospital where she was given wonderful advanced veterinary care for three days.  Fortunately, there were no signs of fractures or injured organs, but some cranial swelling and head trauma; she has a long recovery ahead. Babygirl came home yesterday with still no mobility in her back legs.  Today, in my kitchen, Jo finalized the construction of a little sulky cart so that Babygirl can get around once her external injuries heal.

I'm asking you, my friends, to consider donating to this Go Fund Me campaign to help Jo defray the cost of Babygirl's emergency veterinary bill.  If you've ever had to utilize this level of vet care, I'm sure you know that's a hefty sum, so your financial support to Jo and Babygirl will be warmly, and greatly appreciated.
