Emergency surgery for Duke

UPDATE: the remaining balance has been donated anonymously to Dukes vet directly. He is scheduled for surgery Friday at 7:45. I will post updated info after surgery regarding his progress and health. I want to thank EVERYONE tremendously for their help, positivity, and prayers. I have been in tears Continuously and am SO beyond thankful and touched that people have been so willing to help. My heart is full and I will do everything in my power to GIVE BACK when I can. I will never forget how many people chose to give to me in a time of need. THANK YOU.
If you know me, you know I don't normally ask for help.. but as of last night it's the only option. Our dog Duke has been having issues since we got him in July (double ear infection, allergic reactions to his food), everything we've been able to solve besides his on and off bleeding from his male area. We've maxed out care credit twice with these reoccurring vet visits and every single time they've been telling me allergies, giving him antabiotics for that. Well last night was different. Getting ready to take him outside and he was sitting in his own blood. This was more than we've ever seen. With a couple hours of research and desperately looking for answers through fb I learned he has a prolapsed urethra. This can't be cured without surgery, and by the amounts he's bleeding it needs done within the next couple days. If it wasn't so urgent I wouldn't even bother to make one of these as there are people who really need help... but I guess right now I feel like I do too. I'll need to do whatever it takes to take care of my boy!!!!
By all the research I've done with vets around me, this is the estimate to the procedures he needs done. Hoping to get it done within a couple days, regardless if the goal is raised or not. I'll find a way.
Duke is my registered Emotional Support Companion. He has helped me manage my anxiety and depression more than any medication has. If you know me you know how important he is to me and how loved he truly is.
