Emergency Relief for the Johncocks

On Monday July 30, 2018, my grandparent's home went up in flames. They are fortunately safe, but their home was completely destroyed. Sadly, they did not have fire insurance on their home and have lost everything. Right now we are seeking financial support for short term housing to provide some consistency for them. While we try to help as a family, housing has been the greatest struggle.

Originally this GoFundMe page was designated to just take care of my grandparents for a couple of weeks, but there has been such an outpouring of love on our family, we would like to extend it to help cover needs beyond this month.  We are beginning to realize how much will be involved and are so grateful for each of you and your willingness to help. Update: Thank you again to everyone who has showed much love and kindness to our family. We are so blessed to be surrounded by people who are willing to donate and pray for Jerry & Dorlene Johncock and this fire situation. The money that has been raised so far has been used for providing short term consistent housing, starting the process of removing the destroyed house and materials, as well as replacing damaged items. We still have a long way to go, but we are so appreciative of everyone's support. God has provided and we are continuously amazed by the outpouring of love that we are receiving. Lord willing, the ultimate goal would be to be able to provide a new modular home - time and resources will reveal if this is possible. Please continue to pray for our family during this time, especially for guidance and open doors. We will continue to keep everyone updated and let you know if other needs arise.
