Emergency Housing Stray Animals

Over 25 years I’ve offered my community here in the South Ribble and surrounding areas a safe haven for lost and found pets.  Our main aim is to reunite these poor souls back to their families to which most are not owned and tossed out in the cold to fight for themselves, starving, poorly and entire (Un-neutered) so the toms are fighting other toms to mate with females - therefore lots of kittens carrying many diseases and the wounds are horrific, the cats depend on us to prevent you the public from seeing these sights, and that’s where I step in to help these poor helpless defenceless souls and get them the help they need. I deal with and work tirelessly with colonies of feral cats and trapping at dangerous sites in hail, rain or snow and work voluntarily alongside  a few local rescue organisations including Cats Protection League & Harvey’s Army and everybody needs a holding facility until we find the owners or find rescue space. This costs a lot to run with using my own transport and fuel, costs of litter substrates, foodstuffs, blankets and accessories. I transport to and from the vets, have them recover in my care, foster and also take emergencies from other rescues out of this area as far as Manchester. Over the years it’s cost me lots of money to buy the housings to keep such safe, my kennels (£500) are falling to bits, my cattery enclosures (£300) are old and in need of a total revamp.  The garden is in need of reflagging professionally to which these works were to be carried out a few weeks ago and has had to be put on hold due to shortages of finance. I’ve always funded these buildings myself and never asked for financial support to keep these street strays safe. I ask can you support me to continue to support the animals in need PLEASE? x
