Innaa lillaahi wa 'innaa 'ilayhi raaji'oon, Allaahumma'-jurni fee museebatee wa 'akhliflee khayran minhaa.

From the family of Alamin, we would appreciate any type of support/donations you could give for our beloved Abu (father)/ uncle/brother who is in critical care and anticipating Janaza needs. We also ask to keep us in your prayers.
Alamin has been battling kidney failure for the last 10 years. By Allah Azawajal’s mercy he has been maintaining through 4-5 hour long dialysis treatments 3 times a week (every week). He has been on the kidney transplant list for the past 5 years to no avail. Allah (God) has created the human body with 2 kidneys to filter waste and toxins from the body. Though Allah created the body with 2 kidneys, Allah even allows the body to function with just 1 kidney. But when neither kidney is no longer functioning, a person’s body becomes unable to rid itself of toxins and causes other deadly complications like respiratory/ heart failure.
On October 20th, as Alamin traveled to see his youngest daughter (Amina) who was critically sick, Allah (God) allowed his heart to suddenly stop beating, essentially causing him to go into cardiac arrest depriving his brain of oxygen for an unknown period of time. He was taken to a hospital in Philadelphia, PA where they shocked his heart and Allah allowed it to beat again, giving him an opportunity to repent and his loved ones to say their farewells. MashAllah, how many times we have heard of such a mercy from Allah Azawajal. Now he is laying with his life in the balance on life support with no brain activity according the the most recent brain scan. In the religion of Islam, the use of artificial machines to support life is not accepted. Eventually, the family will have to inform the doctor to discontinue these heroic measures that are preserving his otherwise lifeless body.
While nobody can be certain the direction of Alamin’s next couple of days, the family is content in knowing that Allah Azawajal is in control of all matters.
Alamin is a resident of Virginia. He made Hijra (relocation) to Virginia over 25 years ago to provide a less distractive environment for his family to freely practice their religion of Islam. His family would like to have his body shipped to Virginia within 24 hours of his passing so that he may receive a proper Muslim burial, in the state where he preferred to live and be buried. Alamin’s family will require financial assistance to give him the very best of a blessed journey.
