Help the Iraci Family

UPDATE: As most of you know, this has been a hard year. At this time, Paul is entering hospice care. It was not without a fight. I ask that you give the family space and time to spend with him and each other.  Please use this forum to send your well wishes. 

At this time I'm reinstating this gofundme page to get approximately 6 months of mortgage payments together for Melanie. During this traumatic time, I want her and the kids to be at home, and not have to rush grieving due to financial obligations.

Hi everyone, I’m writing to you all to ask for some help on my friends’ behalf. Most of you already know that Paul Iraci aka Tall Paul, marine, husband, father of two young boys, and all around pretty awesome person has been diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct cancer at 35 years old.

Just typing that makes my stomach drop all over again. But here we are, doing the best we can in the wake of his diagnosis. This families typical life has been turned upside down, now consists of chemo treatments, trips to Sloan Kettering, juggling appointments and childcare, and just getting used to this new normal.

So many people have sent their well wishes and they are so appreciated. But we are setting up this gofundme to help with medical expenses and household expenses for the Iracis so money doesn’t have to be at the forefront of their minds. Whatever goes unused will go to cancer research or another family in a similar state. In the end, the Iracis don’t want anyone’s money, they want their guy back in tip top shape.
