Emergency Dental Expenses

Hello everybody! My name is Bonnie, and I come to you today because I need help. I recently had to have 2 emergency dental procedures that I thought were only going to be simple fillings. I was wrong and woefully unprepared for what was to happen next.

The 1st emergency was a root canal and wisdom tooth extraction. The week leading up to the procedure was spent in a ton of pain to the point where not even Ibuprofen was lessening said pain. That was in mid-February. After the procedure, I was finally out of pain and thought everything would be fine after that ordeal. Then tooth sensitivity on the other side of my mouth started. I was able to combat it for a few weeks with toothpaste for sensitive teeth, but I noticed it just wasn't improving and knew I had to go back to the dentist. Turned out, I needed yet another root canal.

The total cost between the 2 emergency procedures came to almost $6000. I completely maxed out a credit card and still had to pay $1300 up front. I feel like I'm drowning from this sudden debt.
