Can you help the William Monroe Trotter Innovation School dream big? We're hoping that our fundraising campaign will raise $2,500 for parent engagement activities this year.
For a parent council that started this school year with $13 in the bank, this would be a huge step, and it would keep up our exciting momentum.
What your gift will support:
Game nights cost on average $400—that pays for food, prizes, and fun (even educational!) games for families to play. We'll be holding one every month.
We hope to sponsor two staff appreciation events: $100/event. We also plan to fund teacher-proposed initiatives at the school: $100/event.
We will support a growing Wellness Committee at the school, with low-cost Zumba classes, a dance-a-thon, healthy snack supplementation and a chef's cook-off at the school cafeteria. A $60 contribution will pay for one zumba lesson for parents at the school. $30 will pay for a healthy ingredient at the Trotter market for six families.
We make every dollar raised go very far using in-kind donations, community support and hustle.
