Elsie Aloha to Family Care

This is Elsie Stalla-Isaacs. She is a Mom, Grandmother, Great grandmother and honorary Hawaiian Aunty to jmany.
Elise has been living in Kona Hawaii since 1977. She is now 85 years old. It is time for her to be relocated back to New Mexico where she can live out the rest of her life with her daughter Eileen and be close to many other family members.
David and Laurie (her son and daughter) will go to mom’s home in September, 2017. We are raising funds for travel expenses, and shipping her personal belonging to New Mexico. We will clear out her condo and wrap up as many loose ends as we can at that time. We will then fly with Elsie to New Mexico.
How did Elsie get to Hawaii in the first place?
She and Harvey, her husband of 41 years took a well-deserved 25th anniversary trip to the islands. A mere six months later they sold most everything they had and moved across the ocean to Hawaii. After Harvey passed away, a few years later she fell in love and married Ed Isaacs. Nine years later Ed also left this earth towards heaven. As a child Elise prayed to God and asked to be married for 50 years. Between her two wonderful husbands her prayer was answered.
Elise has been a spunky, sharp and independent woman. She was a registered nurse for over 55 years. To this day she loves children and singing in the church choir. She wants to continue line dancing once a week but a recent fall resulting in a broken arm has prevent that from happening.
Although, she will miss the islands tremendously, her family knows it is time for her to relax and not have to take care of herself any longer. It’s time for her to enjoy her life with family care.
