Elliott School Family Photos

I am part of an amazing photography group at my church (which you are all invited to on Monday nights) and every year, we take family portraits for the families of the students of McPhee Public schools. McPhee is a diverse school. Many of the families know very little English and are struggling financially. Many of the families are refugees. Just them having a free family photo is huge. The principal of McPhee Public School told the principal of Elliott Public School about their free family photo night and the impact it has been. Elliott School has now requesting that we take on their school as well.
Elliott School faces the same challenges as the McPhee Schools except on a greater scale. A much larger school with a larger percentage of students who come from families on non-English speaking homes. A greater percentage of refugees. Poverty is an issue indeed. Some of the photographers and I decided that we don't want to just offer a family print this time but we would like to fill their bellies as well. This is the challenge for us photographers. Taking the photos is the easy part. We are doing this GoFundMe to raise the money to purchase food for our guest and possibly frames for a print.

We need your help. I am telling you that a little will go a long way here. Imagine the smiles!

The goal is $3000. We think that would cover the cost of their free prints, food and possibly some frames. Any bit of money left over will be donated to the People City Mission here in Lincoln. Not a single penny will go towards a photographer or a volunteer
