Elena Binkley Fund

I'm sure you have all seen the story of this beautiful 2 year old little girl, Elena Binkley, Heather Reid/Paffords daughter, who was horribly beaten and abused by Clayton Pafford. She was placed in ICU and is still in the hospital but finally stable. This poor child suffered a liver lacerations, multiple brain bleeds, a rash so bad it turned into ulcers. There is evidence of Shaken baby Syndrome, as well as old wounds that seem to just be healing from prior abuse.  She will have more than likely requires years of therapy, both mental and physical. No child should ever have to go through this! Her Aunt has been relentlessly by her side through this horrible journey so far. I know many of you would like to help this family, amd let me clarify, when i say say family i mean Elena and the few that are actually trying to take care of her . NOT Heather!  It is hard raising any child, let alone one who has been through this trauma but loving family are ready to add Elena to there home as soon as possible. Any and all donations you can give are greatly appreciated, as well as your prayers for this beautiful little girls quick recovery.  I thank you all, and please please please share!




I have received messages for more information on this cause. My best friend is the Aunt of the little girl who was brutally abused. While emergency temporary custody has been granted to the next of kin, Her aunt is trying to be a long term solution. I wanted to help this situation so I figured this was a good way. Adding a child to any home unexpectedly is no easy feat. Especially when the child will have enormous medical bills and therapy bills. My hope for the funds raised through this will at least take some of the financial burden off of the family remaining by Elena's side, because lord knows the emotional toll is hard enough.  They are great people, and will do whatever it takes to keep Elena safe. They all have a long, emotional hard road ahead, if the people in our community can make it a little less hard, then why shouldn't we?
