ZERO EMISSIONS TAXI SEED FUND

$15 of $10.0M goal

Hello, World. My name is Allen Stewart and I am part owner of Blackfoot, a four year old, environmentally responsible licensed taxi service out of the Southside of Atlanta. We are crowdfunding $10,000,000.00 to fund our transistion into an energy independent, zero emission transportation entity.

Here is why this is so sorely needed.

Our service area, South Atlanta/Clayton County, is economically challenged. There is little investment and we are overlooked when it comes to funding for lots of things. Transportation is a perpetual need, people always need a ride. It has been our mission from the beginning to move people around affordably, without subsidation. The vision is to run electric cars and generate the fuel they use from renewable sources at our headquarters. (See artist's interpretation.) The secret is transporting without oil. It boils down to plain old addition and subtraction, simple business math. Through this divorce we become carbon neutral AND reduce operational expenses enough to genuinely offer lower rates.

This seed money will be used for 2 main things.

1. Build our headquarters which will use renewables to generate 1.5 MW of energy to power the fleet. The design considers and will try to institute V2G technology, however, it is not very developed at the time of this writing. But we will explore.

2. Design and deploy infrastructure necessary to support electric cars throughout the area.

The goal is to make electricity free for residents in our service area in five years.

The exact details are in our 2018 business plan, found at blackfoot-taxi.com . Scroll to the bottom of the first page and download a copy. It is available in audio or PDF formats.

The Taxi Industry is a tough business right now. I have done a video to highlight some of the injustices we taxis are experiencing, from unfair competition to the government itself showing bias against proper taxi companies operating within the laws on the books. If you are in the least bit interested in investing in this company, an open invitation is extended to join me for the State Of The Taxi Industry - Atlanta Edition. It is a report on where we stand, here, with taxi transportation.
