Eleanor's Random Acts of Kindness
Donation protected
My daughter, Eleanor Josephine, was stillborn with no known cause on September 11, 2015 at 40 weeks gestation. In honor of her fourth birthday, I would like to do a MASSIVE random act of kindness/pay it forward day in her memory. I'm raising as much money as I can so that way on September 11, 2019, I can go around town surprising as many people as I can with random acts of kindness - paying for tanks of gas, groceries, meals at restaurants; making care packages for the homeless; sending food to local fire stations; etc. I know that because I am just some random person and not an official charity, you may be hesitant to send money, and I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND. I will be taking photos of the acts themselves as well as getting receipts so that every dime is accounted for. Any money left over will NOT be kept by me - it will instead all be donated to a charity of my choosing (NILMDTS, St. Jude's, The Finely Project, Knox Blocks, and others are all possibilities). I want this to be big! On a day that is very difficult and painful for me, I want to be able to go around spreading as much happiness and love as possible in my daughter's name. And of course, feel free to also do a random act of kindness (or four, for her 4th birthday!) as well. We all know 9/11 is a dark day for our country all around - let's make this year's a positive one!
