Elbert for Alzheimer's

Donation protected
Hi there!

My name is Dan Gittis. I'm a junior in college, and in just a short year and a half I plan on attending law school to study environmental law or medical care law. That's only if becoming a professional mountain climber/photographer doesn't work out, of course.

On January 17, 2014, my grandmother passed away after a long and strenuous battle with Alzheimer's.

On June 27, 2017, my brother and I will be hiking up Mt. Elbert. At 14,439', it is the tallest mountain in the Rockies. But we want to do this hike for more than just fun; we want to do it for a cause.

By June 27, we hope to raise a minimum of $1,500! We promise to donate the earnings to the Alzheimer's Association!

Being able to combine something I love with a cause that means so much to me is very exciting. Every donation counts, even the smallest one.  If my grandmother were still around, I know she would be very excited for our journey, and even more excited that her grandchildren are working towards a cause.  Myself, my grandmother, and my entire family thank you!
