Help Amber get new legs
Six-year-old Amber Travers from Liverpool has never been one to sit back and let life pass her by, despite meningitis having robbed her of both her legs and an arm.
There’s only one thing that’s holding Amber back – her legs or, rather, her prosthetic limbs.
Mum Vicky says “The NHS legs have helped Amber get around and we are really grateful for those, but they are not the best.
“If we get them made privately, they will be a better quality and there is a better choice of fittings and the way they are made. They will be more comfortable.
“It means that, especially as Amber gets older, and she wants to do everything everyone else does, she can.”
Please donate what you can to help Amber - thanks
