Eisenhower Cooperative's DHH Walk-a-thon 2019
Donation protected
We are the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program at Eisenhower Cooperative. We are a PreK-8th grade Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. We communicate through sign language, speaking, and a combination of both. We are a team of Deaf Educators, Parents, Families, Speech Pathologists, Therapists, and Audiologists. We come to school everyday and build a unique community that allows every chld the opportunity to learn and thrive. We need your help!
Every year we use the money we collect from our walk-a-thon to pay for field trip experiences in our community. These experiences in the community help our students to learn to navigate communication independently in their communities while building student confidence and setting the foundation for successful, independent futures. In addition, money collected is used for everyday classroom supplies our students might not otherwise have access to.
HOW TO HELP?
We will be hosting our 8th annual Walk-a-thon. Our Walk-a-thons an exciting way to kick off our school year. Staff, students, families, and former students gather together and walk to support each other's success! We are collecting donations to support our program and contribute to another successful school year. Any donation is greatly appreciated and every little bit helps!
