Eid for Syrian Families

Muslim Sisters of Éire in partnership with Human Appeal Ireland, Happy Muslim Family and Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland are hosting an Eid celebration for the recently arrived Syrian families to Ireland, on 23rd of June. This event also celebrate World Refugee Day, a day to raise awareness of the plight of refugees throughout the world.

These Syrians, many of whom are women and children have been torn apart from their home and have experienced grave loss. An Eid event will be a chance for them to forget the hardships and heartache, while an opportunity for us to welcome them and make them feel at home in a new country. 

We hope to make this event a memorable day for the families and will be bringing them from various parts of the country to Dublin. They will be served food and refreshments. Children will be offered a variety of entertainment activities, such as a clown show, faceprinting, bouncy castles and much more. We also plan to give out Eid gifts and goody bags to these families.
