Eevie is one of 116 Dobermans confiscated in the South Carolina puppy mill case. This sweet dobergirl is very lucky to be one of the 25 Dobes rescued by Doberman Underground. Read more about this tragic situation http://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/local/article131901334.html
Eevie was rescued and joined our family on April 30, 2017 when we adopted her so our other Doberman, Dexter could have a play mate, and we adopted Eevie through Doberman Underground.  She has already endured so much pain and neglect and now lives in a loving home with another Doberman and mixed breed dog.  Today, August 13th, unfortunately, Eevie was diagnosed with Wobbler's Syndrome. This is a degenerative disease that caused her to loose the ability to walk the past few days.  Her brothers are wondering why she can't play with them and we have to carry her out to the potty and she cannot stand on her own currently.  I am raising money to help Eevie receive a treatment through Arthogen Goldic stem cell regeneration that will regenerate her bad neck and spine that will allow her to live out her life and play and run free. Several other Doberman have been cured using this treatment, as other medicines and surgeries are not a proven method of treatment for this horrible disease.   Eevie is only 2 years old and has already endured enough pain as I said, so I really need to raise the funds that will allow her to be pain free, to be able to regain her ability to walk again.  Without this treatment the prognosis is not good.  Eevie also just lost her 14 year old  dog sister Missy, a Black Lab to old age because of a stroke/seizure a couple months ago.  Please donate so Eevie can have this life saving treatment done as quickly as possible. She is such a sweet and loving dog and part of our family, and she deserves so much more without having to suffer, as she has suffered enough in her short life already.  This is a genetic disease so it just comes onand will get worse without treatment . The Goldic treatment is her saving miracle to give her her life back.  These funds wil be strictly used for Eevie's Goldic treatment and any remaining funds left will be turned back into the Doberman Underground Rescue to help other dogs that need care.

Hi Paw Pals! It has been 2 weeks since Eevie had her last Goldic injection and she is doing well! She is not taking any pain medicine, has been able to go outside to go potty and is eating well and still loosing a few pounds, which is the goal! This weekend Eevie's milestone was graduating from not having to have her pool to lay in, and she can lay back in her bed, and got a new dog paws blanket to lay with that she seems to like! She is on a diet dog food which she seems to really like and she loves to be covered up with her blankets! This week I will be taking Eevie to get a urine culture done as she still had something questionable showing in her last urinalysis which was done the same day as her last Goldic injection, October 13th, but she had to be off antibiotics for so long before doing this other test. She seems to be in no pain or discomfort from anything, and is in good spirits. She has been getting up more to move around and greeting people at the door. Thank you all again for your contribution to Eevie's care for her wobbler's! You can follow Eevie's progress on he Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/390062018076634/

Hello everyone. Eevie has began her Wobbler's treatment!!!! She had her first injection on Tuesday, October 3 and the next one is October 6. She will also get injections on October 10 and 13. She is doing well with the Master's family, and she was excited to see them again, and her foster brother dogs Titan and Luke. Eevie is being put on a green bean, lower fat and calorie diet so she can drop a few pounds since she hasn't been able as move as much and added some pounds to her girlish figure. Dr. Kirwin wanted to see her drop a few pounds, which Melissa told me this morning it seems like she already has cause her harness seemed a bit looser! That is a good thing! Today was the first day she didn't want to eat her breakfast, and that is unusual for Miss Eevie! Is a sign that she is probably starting to feel her Goldic working! But again, she could stand to go without a meal or two! :) She has been comfy in her pool which is with her and laying on the couch, and she has a special bed she lays in at nighttime. Melissa said she even managed to drag herself out of the pool one day to try to come find her! She is a dog who doesn't want to miss anything and especially if there is food involved! When she returns home she will have a nice new high rise dog bowl set which will help her not to have to bend down to eat, a new Premier purple martingale collar, a new ball to chase soon and a hedgehog toy! Yes, my dogs are all spoiled! You can continue to follow Eevies's progress on her Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/390062018076634/

It has been a little bit since I did an update on Eevie. I wanted to let you all know that she will be starting treatment in Milford, Ohio (Cincy area). There was first a delay because the vet was on vacation a couple weeks, and then there was another delay when we had to wait on test results to come back from a Von Willebrands blood test that had to be sent off to Cornell University to be ran. You can follow Eevie's progress when treatment starts on her new Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/390062018076634/
Eevie's Road to Recovery from Wobbler's. I want to thank you all again for helping in this process so Eevie can walk again. She has been in good spirits as can be expected, but I can tell she is getting bored just laying around. Our main issue working through recently has been her urinary issues with her having UTI's, so she has been on antibiotics for that and taking urinary supplements. This will get better once she can walk and go potty again by herself! Soon and very soon!

We would like to report that Eevie will be starting her Goldic treatment injections next week to help her wobblers! Her foster family (Mike and Melissa Masters) who had her before she was adopted by my family, has so generously offered to take Eevie in for her treatments for two weeks. As she receives treatments, we will be posting updates on her progress. Eevie will be getting her injections on Tuesday's and Friday's for the next two weeks. Eevie's vet, Baltimore Vet and the clinc Eevie will be getting her treatments at, are working very closely together to make sure she receives the best of care and comfort in this process to help her on the path to getting better and again walking and running! I would like to thank all those involved in this process, the Master's family and Daryl Boyd with Arthrogen Goldic, Baltimore Vet and Dr. Kirwin who will be doing her treatments, and so many others who have contributed to her fund and care. Please keep everyone involved in your thoughts and prayers in the next few weeks. Again, we thank everyone for their donations and support!!
