In Memory of Ed Yoder
$7,135 of $20,000 goal
There is an overwhelming sadness in our hearts as we all grieve the loss of Ed Yoder. While we are grieving, we try our best to make sense of our loss and put things into perspective. Ed was one of a kind and truly touched our lives in so many ways. A dedicated family man, Ed loved his wife and kids more than anything and spoke of them often. As his family is comforting one another, we can give back. Please consider making a contribution in his memory. This contribution is a way to assist the family in funeral expenses and the financial burdens that come with hospital bills. Please continue your prayers for the family in the days ahead as they cope with the loss of such a precious soul.
Ed, the Lord has welcomed you with loving arms, as heaven has gained a beautiful soul and we have a special angel among us. Fly high, buddy!
As you all may have heard, our Director, Ed Yoder, was recently diagnosed with a serious illness. Not only has this come as devastating news to Ed and his family, but also to the radiology department family. I am an RTA in the process of working towards getting a radiology tech degree. There have been times where I have gotten down because of the hardships that come with going to school as an adult, and Ed always has something positive to say for encouragement. He also tells me every time that if there was anything that he could do to help me with getting into school, to just let him know. He really goes out of his way to help his people out and he never hesitates to do so. There are not many people out there to work under who has the passion for what they do as well as a caring heart for the people that work for them. He truly is a one of a kind! So I'm wanting to do a little something to give back to him, and let him know he has a huge support team. I wanted to create silicone awareness bracelets that say "PRAY FOR ED". The bracelets will be black and glow in the dark green letters. Black because radiology is 'black and white', and glow in the dark green because we always get the joke from people about glowing green from radiation. I originally was going to collect the raised cash and then place the order in a few weeks. However, Jennifer Cook (ROCU/Specials) approached me with a better idea. She purchased the bracelets for me, so that the order could be processed immediately, and will hopefully be shipped to the hospital sometime on Monday! The bracelets will be $5.00 a piece and you may buy extras or just donate extra if you wish. The proceeds will go directly to Ed Yoder to use as he wishes.
Thank you for all of your support!!!!!!!!!!!
