We are a small group of mothers who have come together to show our children and community that peace will always prevail. As parents who are building a safe and loving community in Edgewater, we wanted to come together in peace to remember both Mellie and Melisa.

We are raising money for guitars to be donated to the Edgewater Public Library, a place that Mellie and her mother Melisa loved and frequented.  Mellie  loved music and her guitar lessons which took place at the library. These guitars will be a testament to Mellie's life and her passion for guitar and music. The library currently does not have any guitars. These instruments will allow more children the ability to enjoy and learn music as Mellie did.
