My hero and brother passed away early in the morning. I am heartbroken. This is a shock to us all. He meant the world to me. He was my coach, my fan, my rock, my concert buddy, and my mentor. I grew up without a father figure but Eddy quickly realized and stepped in to take care of me and to guide me. I am who I am because of him. He had an amazing personality and an enormous heart. He spread laughter and kindness wherever he went. He meant a lot to those around him. He meant so much more to me. Everything I love is because of him. From the games I play to the shows I watch to most importantly, the music I listen to. Music is something we bonded over. It brought us closer together. Now it all reminds me of him. He was a very talented human being. He was able to pick up an instrument and learn it that day. He loved music so much. He had many dreams and aspirations, but while his life may have been cut short, I believe he accomplished the one that meant the most to him. Live a happy life. He loved life and lived it to what he believed was his best life. I truly believe that he did live the happiest life he could have ever lived. When we were young, he would pick me up on his bike. I would ride on the pegs all the way home. That’s the kind of brother he was. He would make life easier and guide me on the right path. He was loving and caring. He was my brother but he was also my best friend. We would take care of each other up until the end. I looked up to him. He took care of the family when I couldn’t. He taught me so much about growing up and he was always by my side. Through every aspect of my life, he supported me. He was proud of me. I could always count on him. We are going through a tough time. He passed away suddenly yet he did not suffer. He was not in pain. He died doing what he loved, playing music.

Right now, we need to come together not only as family or friends but as the community that Eddy loved, the people he enjoyed being around. As we go through all of the expenses we start to realize that it is going to be a lot more difficult than we could have ever imagined. Organizing everything is expensive and we would appreciate even the smallest amount. Anything helps me and my mother get through these tough times. I am a full time college student and find it difficult to find time to work and my mother is currently out of work due to a fire. We're both trying to pull it together to find any sort of money to help with all of this but we need your help. All of this would go to expenses and loss of wages. I will be dealing with all of the kind donations but be assured that every penny will go to the family. This money would go to funeral expenses, lost wages, and medical expenses.
