Shoes for Poor Filipino Children
It is said that to really understand someone, you need to walk a mile in their shoes. In the Philippines, over 16 million children are dewormed twice a year to eliminate intestinal worms because they do not own adequate footwear. I intend to walk and/or run thousands of miles in their honor, BAREFOOT.
Although I have already set world records I will keep running barefoot marathons to continue to create awareness for these children. Each barefoot marathon is a distance of 26.2 miles or 42 Kilometers.
In 2014, I raised over $20,000 and distributed over 15,000 pairs of brand new shoes in the Philippine provinces of Davao and Leyte while setting two Guinness World Records:
(1) "Most Barefoot Marathons Run in One Year with 101", and
(2) “Most Barefoot Marathons Run on Consecutive Days with 10”
Please help me raise money to provide these impoverished children with valuable protection from harmful wounds and infectious diseases. Through the Seeds of Dignity Ministry charity program, 100% of your donation will go towards providing a pair of shoes to these poor Filipino children.
