Ed Cruz Memorial & Medical Expenses

Please help in raising funds for Ed who has been diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer.
He will have 6 months of Chemotherapy starting in November in hopes that the cancer on a main artery will recede; he has been in a lot of pain due to the tumor being directly on a nerve.
If all goes well Ed will be a candidate for surgery. Only 20% of Pancreatic patients are candidates for surgery, so Ed and his family feel very positive about his treatments.
Ed has been a longtime member of this community. He is a Sonora High graduate and is a retired correctional officer from Sierra Conservation Center. He is happily married to his wife Caroline, has 5 children, and 5 wonderful grandchildren.
Ed's deep faith in God and positive attitude have kept him in good spirits.
