Ecuador expedition 2020

Greetings everyone, thank you for taking the time to read this! "Giving 100% - sustainable development, environmental conservation and community work"  My name is Maddie Winchester and I am taking part in an expedition to Ecuador in the Summer of 2020 with Camps International, however at a steep cost of £4340, so I am in desperate need of your support!  I cannot wait to start fundraising for this once in a lifetime opportunity as I really want to make a difference to this wonderful planet we live on, and this is a great platform to do so - I would love and greatly appreciate your support. The main aim of the organisation I am travelling with (Camps International) is to support communities worldwide to improve their standard of living ( regarding things such as access to proper education and healthcare etc.) They also work to ensure clean water and shelter is available for all those in need.  And during my expedition these are the things that I will be aiming to do. The main projects I will undertake consist of: Education: Helping future generations of children and babies by building a new school or kindergarten. Community: Constructing vital facilities for the community such as community centres, churches etc. Healthcare and sanitation: Improving the health of a whole community through the installment and improvement of important local amenities such as healthcare facilities. Food and water security: Installing new water facilitices to provide fresh drinking water for all of the locals. Environmental protection: Planting food trees for bears and getting involved with ways to minimise huge wildlife poaching problems. And finally marine life conservation: building octopus houses and cleaning up litter from beaches. These causes all mean a great deal to me and furthermore, they are all areas of crisis in Ecuador: 1) Over 25% of the children have no access to education and are malnourished, 2) an area the size of Spain is lost to deforestation each year 3) and finally it's a massive biodiversity hotspot with new species being found frequently. On this one month expedition I will have the opportunity to change the world for the better - and by supporting me - so will you!  I hope you will all get involved and help me to give 100% on this experience of a lifetime!
