ECU students provide care to kids

My Name is Brooke, and i am studying Bachelor of Science (Nursing) at ECU in Joondalup.
I have been selected to participate in a Two week International Placement in India with 9 other students from Both the Joondalup and South West campus. This placement is only possible due to the involvement from the International village care ministry (www.ivcm.org.au)
The area's that we will be visiting are based in rural areas of south India, where the local people have little to no access to medical care. The purpose of our visit to India will be to provide nursing care to the locals, by promoting health and welfare, providing health promotion materials, and to also use our skills we have learnt while at University in a different setting, whilst enriching the lives of the local communities.
We are trying to get donations to assist us in providing something worthwhile and important to these communities. Until we know how much we have raised, we cannot decide on what we would like to spend this money on, however the local people will love anything we can donate.
Please help us help these communities.
*please note that under no circumstance are your donations covering any costs incurred by these students just assisting them in proving a better outlook and donations for the orphans.
