Mission:
Our family wants to create and build an ecological environment for learning practical “life skills” so that we and others can live more sustainably on land that is now provided for this purpose.
Learning by Doing:
Eco Land Project is intended to be a cooperatively managed self sustainable, permaculture “off-grid” Homestead and Education project based in Portugal. The project's aim is to provide a place where family, friends and people can come and learn about eco-living by taking part in practical work such as gardening and eco-building with natural materials and maintaining land with traditional skills learned from neighbours and elders around us.
We want to help people to “learn by doing” as a foot step towards living more self-sufficiently and independently by using and maintaining the natural resources within a regional community environment.
Our program of activities will include Workshops and Volunteering options on learning traditional skills, living more sustainably, alongside personal self-development skills and self-healing modalities.
Our Invitation:
