EB Football State Champs

Donation protected
The EB Vikings Gridiron Club is trying to raise money to purchase Superbowl Championship rings for the players and coaches.  It has been 26 years since the football team won the superbowl.   The Vikings defeated an undefeated St. Mary's team that was averaging 48 points a game by a final score 34-8.  It was an incredible day at Gillette Stadium and another outstanding season for the Vikings.  It was a magical way to end the season especially considering the Vikings went to the championship game last year and came up two points short as they fell to Northbridge 36-34.  These players have displayed some of the highest character both on and off the field.  The 2016 Vikings won the South Shore League Sportsmanship Award which is voted on by the South Shore League coaches.  In the classroom, the football team has earned a reputation for being excellant student-athletes.  Most importantly the 2016 Vikings is comprised of a great group of kids.  The level of committment they have for football, school work and each other is a huge reason why they are Superbowl Champions.   The team would more than appreciate any size donation if you are fortunate enough to do so.  We are hoping to present the rings to the players and coaches at their annual football banquet in March. Thank you.
