Spreading awareness for eating disorders has become my life passion. Too many people suffer with an eating disorder and there is a major lack of understanding and support for the deadliest mental health illness. Someone suffering with an eating disorder is affected by this disease everyday of their life and if we do not attempt to make a change in our understanding those suffering will never be at peace. National Eating Disorder Awareness week is February 26th-March 4th. The money that this campaign raises will help provide treatment and resources for those who suffer from this serious disease. Eating disorders affect everyone- your daughter, son, best friend, husband, wife-- EDs do not discrimante and it is time that proper action and awareness is put in place.
Spreading awareness can be costly and I am in need of help of making this change. Anything helps and you never know the difference you can make in someones life.
The money that this campaign raises will go towards NEDA and will provide hope for those suffering.
