Easton's Diabetic Service Dog

Donation protected

Easton was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on 12/21/2014.  Life as he  knew it changed in the blink of an eye.  Easton is now insulin dependent for the rest of his life.  He checks his blood sugar at least 10 times a day to make sure his sugar levels are where they are supposed to be.  He counts every carb he eats and gives himself insulin through his pump for those carbs.
What scares us the most, is at night when he is sleeping or when he is participating in sporting events. He  has a constant glucose monitoring system on him but it's not 100% foolproof.  He hit a record low of 23 one night and it made us realize that we could lose him.  We really couldn't bare to see our sister and this family go through the loss of a child when we can come together to help prevent those extreme lows and highs.
Our goal here is to purchase a diabetic service dog for him so that he can be awakened at night and/or notify him during his everyday life, including those sporting events, if he is high or low.
We would like to have this service dog purchased by September of 2017 so any amount that you could donate would be greatly appreciated.
                                         We Thank You
