Easton’s adventure

Easton was born with what is called TARS. Thrombocytopenia Absent Radius Syndrome. In English, that means that his blood does not clot as quick as it should and he is missing bones in both forearms. It is a rare, genetic disorder that takes both parents to have a deleted/mutated gene in Chromosome 1. Klint and Lauren both have this gene mutation/deletion. It took both of then to come together for TARS to happen.
Fast forward to present day, and they are making the decision to help give Easton a better quality of life. They have found a miracle worker in West Palm Beach, Florida who is world known for his lengthening surgeries. These surgeries will help Easton walk by giving him knee caps, we will be able to help Easton reach further by straightening and lengthening his arms, and we will help Easton have better function of both thumbs to grasp things.
